Ying Tan is a leading mortgage expert in the UK and the CEO of Dynamo (formerly The Buy To Let Mortgage Company), a company he started in 2006 and built from the ground up to become the UKs leading mortgage broker. This company did approximately £2.8 billion of mortgage business in the past financial year, has an annual turnover of approximately £12 million and employs about 200 members of staff. A popular figure in the financial services industry in the UK, Ying started out in investment banking and rose through the ranks to become the youngest VP ever at Goldman Sachs. However, he had always set his sights on building his own company and, having had experience of mortgage deals through starting his property portfolio, Ying saw his niche being in the buy to let mortgage market. He started his company in 2006 and, in the past 13 years, has diversified into the residential mortgage sector and other financial services, with his most recent business development being into the fintech sector.
