Trading price action trends: technical analysis of price charts bar by bar for the serious trader Ebook
The book begins with an introduction and explains the logic behind the organization and the division into three books. It then describes in detail what individual bars and combinations of bars can tell a trader about what the institutions are doing. This is critical because the key to making money in trading is to piggyback on the institutions and you cannot do that unless you understand what the charts are telling you about their behavior. Trend lines and trend channel lines usually provide a clear picture of what the market is doing and they are very helpful in keeping you trading in the right direction. They are used to contain every trend and every trading range and can alert traders to lots of opportunities. Even though trends are easy to spot, they can be difficult to trade because they are so varied. However, having a system to categorize them gives traders a structure that they can use to understand what each type is doing. When you see what type of trend is unfolding, you can use techniques that are specific to that type of trend to place profitable trades. At the end of each book is the same glossary that gives brief definitions of all of the terms used throughout the books.
