Winston Ma is an investor, author, and adjunct professor of the digital economy who has worked as an investment professional and practicing capital markets attorney in both the US and China. Most recently, he was Managing Director and Head of the North America Office for China Investment Corporation (CIC), Chinas sovereign wealth fund, making cross-border digital economy investments and seeking synergies between China and world markets. Prior to that, he served as the deputy head of equity capital markets at Barclays Capital, a vice president at J.P. Morgan investment banking, and a corporate lawyer at Davis Polk Sovereign Finance ), NYU Stern Business School and Tsinghua School of Economics and Management. He is a member of New York University (NYU) Presidents Global Council since inception, and in 2014 he received the NYU Distinguished Alumni Award.
