Ross W. Greene, Ph.D., (Portland, ME) is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech and adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Science at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. He previously served as the Associate Clinical Professor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, staff psychologist at the Cambridge Health Alliance, and Senior Lecturer in the school psychology program in the Department of Education at Tufts University. Author of the highly acclaimed books The Explosive Child and Lost at School, Greene is director of Lives in the Balance, a non-profit organization that provides free resources on the Collaborative Problem Solving model and advocates on behalf of behaviorally challenging kids and their parents, teachers, and other caregivers (www.livesinthebalance.org). He consults extensively to families, general and special education schools, inpatient and residential facilities, and juvenile detention systems, and lectures widely throughout the world.
