Alex Siow (Singapore)is a professor in the School of Computing at National University of Singapore and Chairman of content delivery network solutions provider Toffs Technologies. He is also Director of NUS’s Advanced Computing for Executives, an executive education center that offers specialized courses on emerging technologies such as FinTech, blockchain, AI, and machine learning. Prior to entering academia, he worked as Managing Director of Accentures Health and Public Service division. Alex started his career as a Structural Engineer in the Housing and Development Board of Singapore in 1981 where he subsequently served as CIO for 13 years. He also served as the Secretary General of the South East Asian Computer Confederation and the Assistant Secretary General of the Asian ICT Confederation before becoming a Senior Vice-President of telecom company StarHub, where he held various senior positions including Head, Business Market; CIO; and Head, Enterprise Risk Management. Recognized as a veteran in the IT industry, his expertise is in IT governance, management of emerging technology, enterprise risk management, and technology roadmap planning.

The book is divided into six parts: management of legacy information and telecommunications technology (ICT) issues, information overload, motivation and mentoring, change management, fostering innovation, and the future (of money, work and AI). It will have a foreword written by Dr Tan Chin Nam, the father of civil computerization in Singapore.
