The Restored Organization

With vast advancements in technology, high turnovers of talent, and rise in workplace toxicity, The Restored Organization® presents a compelling case for leaders to reassess their workplace cultures and offers six ways to further humanize their workplaces and transform results. The book, grounded in research and rooted in personal experiences and conversations with over 100 business leaders, offers effective solutions for organizations to fully restore and build workplaces where both people and results can thrive.

At the heart of the book is the innovative FLOWER® framework, which provides a comprehensive strategy allowing leaders to address cultural elements aligning with their specific challenges and objectives.

The six chapters (petals of the framework) address different subcultures critical for restoring any organization successfully:

· Fulfilling Culture: Create an environment where work has purpose and meaning

· Listening Culture: Foster psychological safety to ensure all voices are heard

· Ownership Culture: Encourage taking initiatives with a sense of belonging

· Wellbeing Culture: Prioritize employee health, work-life balance, and overall wellness

· Enterprising Culture: Drive innovation with a proactive approach to problem-solving

· Results-based Culture: Align efforts with measurable outcomes and accountability

Each chapter delves into three key elements of these subcultures, offering key strategies for their restoration. The book seamlessly integrates insights from neuroscience and psychology with real-life examples and micro-case studies for each chapter, providing organizations with an actionable roadmap for cultural restoration.

By embracing The Restored Organization’s approach, leaders can embark on a journey to build workplaces founded on respect, empathy, and a business focus. This not only enhances employee engagement and wellbeing, but also drives innovation and organizational performance, creating a win-win scenario for both the workforce and the organization’s bottom line.
