Ron Berger is chief academic officer for EL Education and teaches at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ron was an Annenberg Foundation Teacher Scholar, and received the Autodesk Foundation National Teacher of the Year award. He is a featured keynote speaker nationally and internationally, focused on inspiring quality, character, and citizenship in students.  Anne Vilen is senior writer and project manager for EL Education. At EL Education, she has coached school leaders and teachers in EL Education schools across the Southeast and facilitated workshops on literacy, leadership, and school culture. As a staff writer, she has published numerous blogs and articles for education outletsincluding EdWeek, Edutopia, Middleweb, and ASCD Express.  Libby Woodfin is the director of publications for EL Education. Libby started her career as a fifth- and sixth-grade teacher at the original lab school for the Responsive Classroom in Greenfield, Massachusetts, and went on to become a counselor at a large comprehensive high school. Libby started with EL Education in 2007 while completing graduate work at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Education Policy and Management.
