Shelly Smith-Acuna, Ph.D., is the Director of the Doctoral Program in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University and did a post-doctoral fellowship in couple and family therapy at the Family Institute of Chicago. She teaches Systems Theory, Family Therapy, and Couples Therapy. In addition, she maintains a successful private practice.
