About the Author:-
ASSOC PROF LEE LUI SHIONG is Senior Consultant and Head, Department of Urology, Sengkang General Hospital (SKH). As a specialist surgeon in urological cancers, he has spearheaded the development of robotic surgery for bladder cancer and one-stop multi-disciplinary clinics for treatment of advanced prostate, kidney and testicular cancer in Singapore. Assoc Prof Lee was presented with the Clinician Exemplar Award in the 2024 Singapore Health Quality Service Awards, in recognition of his role as a strong proponent for improving patient outcomes and a driver of innovating clinical care. He is Site Director for the Singhealth Urology Residency Programme in SKH and in 2022, was recognised as an Outstanding Faculty Member. Concurrently, he is the President of the Singapore Urological Association.
