Essentials of evidence-based academic interventions Ebook
Federal laws (e.g., Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and No Child Left Behind) mandate that schools demonstrate that federal funds are spent on programs that are scientifically based. Thus, a wide range of practitioners need to know which procedures are most effective for improving academic performance. Using the popular Essentials format, this book provides busy professionals with the information they need to identify what types of interventions would be most effective for students struggling with various areas of academic performance. An intervention-oriented reference for special education teachers, general education teachers, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and school counselors who work directly with student with learning challenges, this book would also be especially useful for graduate students in training.
