About the Author:-
DR JESSICA LEONG is an accomplished counsellor-psychotherapist based in Singapore. She is also Associate Professor in the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University. She holds a PhD in Counselling Psychology from Australia, a Master of Arts in Counselling, and a Master of Science in Transactional Psychotherapy from the UK. Dr Leong currently serves as the Director of Flinders University–Executive Counselling and Training Academy (ECTA) Programmes in Singapore. She is also the Clinical and Academic Director, and Chief Executive Officer of ECTA. Dr Leong’s professional standing, academic excellence, and outstanding contributions to Transactional Analysis have been recognised with the Goulding Award for Excellence in TA Theory and Practice.
PETER HU is a psychotherapist and scholar whose work bridges clinical insight with systemic thinking. He holds a Master of Counselling from Flinders University-ECTA, where he received the Best Overall Performer Award at the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Master’s levels. An economics graduate of Yale University, Peter is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Health) at James Cook University Singapore, where his research explores how trauma-informed care can be embedded systemically by surfacing unconscious dynamics within institutions and leadership. He is a certified Transactional Analysis Practitioner with NATAA (North America Transactional Analysis Association).
